Graduation Ceremony of our first WIDOWS SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The graduation ceremony of our 5 widows as part of our first attempt at our widows skills project  was held on Saturday, 24th October 2020 at Effiduase, Kumasi located in the Ashanti region of Ghana🙌🏼
These widows are now able to be financially independent which means the world for someone in their situation.
We are so happy to have had this program be a success and are excited to continue it on to help more widows InShaAllah!

Our skills development program is intended to teach widows culinary and baking skills to support their economic empowerment.

Prophet Muhammad said: “The one who takes care of a widow or a poor person is like a warrior fighting for the cause of Allah, or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all night.” (Bukhari)
