-The past few weeks have been pleasantly busy, as the Islamic Ummah Relief (IUR) mobilized volunteers to put smiles on the faces of deprived Muslims in Ghana, Nigeria and Niger throughout Ramadan, amid the COVID19 outbreak.
In Ghana, food items including rice and cooking oil were distributed to widows in Accra, Tamale, and Kumasi. There were eid celebration activities with orphans at Home Of Taqwa Orphanage and School, Dodowa and orphans in communities Mbaanayili, Kochim on Eid Day.
Widows in Kumasi also received rice, cooking oil, fowls, and soft drinks among other gifts a few days prior to Eid.
In Nigeria and Niger we provided Eid clothing for 76 orphans respectively, as well as feeding orphans and migrants at IDP CAMP BATSARI Katsina, Nigeria.
These were possible courtesy Allah’s Beneficence and the compassion shown by various individuals who donated funds to facilitate these acts of charity, for which IUR remains immensely grateful.
